HOW THIS CALCULATOR WORKS

Start with your Store level

No Store and Starter use the standard schedule for the supported categories. Basic, Premium, Anchor and Enterprise use the discounted selected-category schedule. Subscription cost is shown separately unless you choose to allocate it across monthly orders.

A $100 trading card sale

With No Store or Starter, the modelled card fee is 13.25% plus a $0.40 order charge, leaving $86.35 on a $100 item. With Basic or above, the selected card fee is 12.35% plus $0.40, leaving $87.25. These examples exclude buyer sales tax, advertising, postage and allocated subscription.

Sales tax affects the fee base

Sales tax collected and remitted by eBay is not seller revenue, but it can increase the amount on which eBay charges the selling fee. Enter it in Fee options when it applies; leaving it at zero can make a US estimate higher than an actual taxed order.

High-price items use tiers

Standard card presets apply 13.25% to the first $7,500 per item and 2.35% above that. The Basic-and-above card schedule applies 12.35% to the first $2,500 and 2.35% above. This calculator models one item in one order.

Common questions

Is payment processing added again?

The model does not add a separate PayPal payment fee to the eBay final value fee.

Are all US categories covered?

No. Choose a supported preset or use custom rates for a specialised category.

Fee assumptions checked 12 October 2026. Preset scope and invoice rounding can differ.
