eBay UK Private Seller Fee Calculator
Convert an eBay UK buyer-facing price into your seller price, including Buyer Protection and optional promoted listing fees.
Use the correct £100 example
If £100 is the price the buyer sees, the calculator estimates £95.48 for the seller before any promoted listing charge or seller-paid postage. If £100 is the price you set instead, the buyer-facing price is approximately £104.70. Choose the input mode before comparing results.
How Buyer Protection is modelled
The calculation uses a fixed £0.10 plus 7% of the first £20, 4% of the portion from £20 to £300, and 2% from £300 to £4,000. The charge stops increasing above the cap. This applies to the eligible private domestic scenario described by eBay, not every listing.
Deduct only your own postage
You can expand I cover postage and enter the amount you pay. For example, £3 postage deducted from the estimated £95.48 payout leaves £92.48. Item purchase cost is intentionally excluded from this simple proceeds tool.
